TCM Therapeutic Actions:    Relieves cold conditions caused by heat and clears toxins from the body.

TCM Indications:     Common cold caused by wind-heat and marked by fever, headache, cough, chills, dry mouth and sore throat; relieves heat and clears toxins. 

Modern Indications:    Nasal congestion, upper respiratory tract infections, acute tonsillitis, encephalitis B, and epidemic cerebrospinal meningitis.

Caution: This formula should only be used for common colds with sore throats caused by wind-heat.
